Who will take home the 2nd "MYSTERY BOX" ?
The mystery box contains at least: one book, one notion, one set of blocks, some yardage, a pattern, and ?? You can be the lucky recepient for a donation to our Community Service fund. Donations of $1.00 get you one ticket for the drawing or 6 for $5. Check it out at the Thrifty Quilting Corner at the August meeting. You can donate before the meeting, or at break. All proceeds benefit our guild's community service projects.
We are excited that our August speaker is quilt designer and teacher, Sharon Wilhite. Sharon specializes in using innovative techniques, timesaving methods, and technology to create spectacular quilts. She has designed quilts for Exclusively Quilters, Hoffman Fabrics, and Robert Kaufman Fabrics. She is the developer of the Reflection technique, a quick and easy strip cutting and piecing technique which creates a stunning variation of a kaleidoscope quilt. Our Net presence is primarily to be of assistance to our over 100 members in providing a link to our guild newsletter, internet resources, monthly and yearly calendars and information on our ongoing projects such as community service.
